A Focus on the Fascia: Shaoyang
Live — May 30 | Online + In Person | CEU/PDA Eligible
We’ll take a close look at the leg and arm shaoyang channels through precise palpation of tissues — from skin to bone.
We’ll explore three palpation techniques to assess and diagnose the fascia, focusing on pathologies commonly related to this channel, including low back pain, dead butt syndrome, abdominal dysfunction, and shoulder, neck, knee, hip, and foot pain.
Specific acupuncture points will be used to release blockages, restore function to the system, and guide immediate reassessment through palpation.
A Focus on the Fascia: Part 2 — Taiyang
This class focuses on the taiyang channel’s relationship to pain and dysfunction in the back body. Through hands-on techniques, we’ll explore how to use taiyang and its associated sinew channels to address deep musculoskeletal imbalances.
Palpation techniques will help identify structural misalignments and stagnation patterns, with treatments aimed at restoring flow and relieving chronic tension and pain.
A Focus on the Fascia: Part 3 — Yangming
In this final section, we’ll shift focus to the yangming channel and its unique role in treating internal-external conditions. With a strong connection to digestive function, tension patterns in the abdomen, and frontal line myofascial imbalances, this course integrates visceral palpation, channel release work, and practical strategies for combining acupuncture with bodywork
