Acupuncture Treatment that Heals the Body
Chad Johnson practices multiple different styles of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine during the course of his practice. The reason for this is that each different stle allows him to view the body through a different lens, address the issue from multiple angles, and discover the best way to bring healing to your body.
- Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM): TCM is one of the commonly taught style of acupuncture taught in American schools. TCM focuses on disharmony of the major organs’ systems. The prescribing of herbs, acupoints, exercises, dietary treatment accordingly are what is used to heal the body.
- Zheng Gu Tui Na: Zheng Gu means the “correct bone,” and is the combined use of joint mobilization and message to treat acute and chronic structural imbalance and bring back a form internal disharmony. Zheng Gu can be used as a stand alone treatment or used with the combination of acupuncture and herbs. Zheng Gu helps clear energetic pathways, decrease recovery time, and heal the body
- Kiiko Matsumoto Style (KM): The KM Style used a highly developed system of palpation, using fine gauge needles, magnets, diodes, and moxibustion to treat a wide variety of complaints from internal organ maladies to complex structural disorders.
- Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM): APM features palpation of the body using Classical Chinese Medical theory paired with the modern medical trigger point therapy yielding effective treatments for many complex, chronic disorders that evade modern medicine such as chronic fatigue syndrome, stress disorders, and fibromyalgia, as well as symptomatic relief of internal medical complaints in the various organ systems of the body such as neurological, cardio-respiratory, gastro-intestinal, genitourinary, and gynecological complaints.
